Yes, it's a trait that has been with me my whole life. All the way from the chair cushions (some of you know what I'm talking about) to tonight. Tim and I stumbled across our wedding video and popped it in for a good 'ole trip down memory lane. Funny how time flies by yet life 3 and a 1/2 years ago looked so different for a variety of reasons, not just in hair color. :) A few things touched me in particular (besides the fact that our wedding was really long...which some people still like to point out). :)

1. I haven't listened to many of the songs we chose for our wedding in a long time...yet they had such meaning and spiritual connection for me back then. I want to dig them up and shut my door and draw my heart back to a place that quite frankly has been neglected for some time. Hearing Eric Schrotenboer's "Fruits of the Spirit" songs especially made me relish in the memories at Hope College.

2. My sister, Jess, and brother-in-law, Matt, rock. You guys still brought me to tears with your beautiful speeches that night...both of which continue to serve as encouragement to us today.

3. Seeing friends and family that have walked through so many years of our lives with us and many that I haven't connected with in awhile but who still hold a special place in my heart. Jeff VB, Col and Stacey O. in particular. I miss you guys. Lets connect soon.
